I purchased this Golf Rangefinder from the REDTIGER website. Never heard of REDTIGER?, yeah, me too. Only after researching the Best Affordable Golf Rangefinders with Slope under $250, did I discover this company. I believe it’s based out of Hong Kong and specializes in dash cams. Once there, you’ll see their Dash Cams front and center, to find their rangefinders, click on “All Product” and on the left you’ll see Golf Rangefinder. Ordering was easy, I received a discount (25% for signing up with them) bringing my total before taxes under $100! Once purchased, I received three emails on the same day – a thank you, a confirmation, and then a shipping notice! Shipping was free and it arrived from Mira Loma, CA via USPS, in two days!
📦 Unboxing & First Impressions
Nicely packaged! The REDTIGER arrives well-packaged with a solid zipper carrying case -feels premium, a USB charging cable, lens cloth, metal belt clip-on, carbinger clip, hand rope (their description, I couldn’t think of a better word) and the user manual. This gives you several options on how to attach to your golf bag, push golf cart, golf cart, or on your body. One side is magnetized. I used the metal belt clip to attach to the magnetized side of the rangefinder and clipped onto a small net on my CaddyTek Lite push cart, so it was secure and easy to access. When I finished the round I put it in the sturdy case and stored it in my golf bag. Impressed with the quality of the case and all the additional contents!

Using the REDTIGER Golf Rangefinder on the course was amazingly fast and easy. I have been using a Nikon ShotScope V2 (circa 2014) which lacked the vibration, slope feature, and ability to focus, so using the REDTIGER was a near life changing event! Much quicker to lock on and I thoroughly enjoy the buzzing! Having the Slope mode delivered accurate adjusted yardages (no more guessing), which helped make smarter club choices. The 6x magnification made it easy to spot the flag from long distances, and its crystal clear optics was a welcomed change! It’s lightweight, fits perfectly in the hand, and thanks to the removeable metal belt clip, it stayed secure on my push cart and was easily accessible.
